Hand-picked berries after the first frosts in the Vosges foothills, then macerated in our marc and wine lees brandy. Slow distillation using a repasse method in our copper still by Matthieu. Reduction with spring water from the estate. Aged in a Dame Jeanne (dummy) bottle until sale. A unique spirit because the berry is toxic if bitten into, yet exquisite when distilled.
