Soil: Katzenthal two-mica granite, established on a magnificent hillside facing due east with a steep slope (over 60% slope!), deep and heavy, sandy clay. A terroir favorable to the production of great sweet wines, which was a real challenge in a heatwave like 2003!

Vinification: Natural fermentation, without the addition of yeast or chaptalization. Direct pressing, for 12 hours, in a pneumatic press. Natural aging for 12 months, on fine lees, in century-old oak barrels. A non-interventionist vinification, without excessive filtration, protected from modern oenological techniques, preserving as much as possible the intrinsic quality of the grapes.
